Why Choose The Leaf and Cup?

The Leaf and Cup began for a very personal reason.

My husband, a registered nurse licensed in Texas, had to step away from nursing after developing severe vestibular migraines and Meniere’s disease.

The symptoms—vertigo, headaches, and constant imbalance—made everyday life incredibly difficult.

Like many families facing chronic health struggles, we started searching for anything that might help bring some relief.

Throughout history, herbs and teas have been used in traditional medicine for thousands of years. So, we began experimenting with loose-leaf herbal teas, carefully

researching ingredients that people had long used to support relaxation, calm the nervous system, and restore balance.

Over time, we discovered that high-quality loose-leaf teas with the right ingredients made a real difference in daily comfort and routine.

What started as a personal search for relief became something bigger.

From our shop in Kemp, Texas, we now craft herbal blends using the same careful approach we used at home—choosing herbs traditionally associated with calming

the body, supporting wellness, and helping people slow down and reconnect with daily ritual.

Our teas are blended by certified herbalists and registered nurses, combining traditional herbal knowledge with modern understanding of wellness and nutrition.

Alongside our herbal teas, we roast and smoke coffee in small batches, bringing the same dedication to craft and quality.
