The Leaf and Cup is a family-owned, women-owned, disabled-owned Texas tea company founded by certified herbalists and registered nurses. We specialize in certified organic loose leaf teas, handcrafted herbal blends, and small-batch wood-smoked coffee while providing original educational resources to help people learn about tea, herbs, and brewing.
The Leaf and Cup began for a very personal reason.
When my husband, a registered nurse licensed in Texas, stepped away from his career for health reasons, our family found ourselves slowing down and rethinking our daily routines. Like many people navigating a difficult season, we searched for small comforts that could bring peace and balance back into our lives.
We found one in tea.
Our story started with curiosity and a desire to learn. Throughout history, herbs and teas have been part of daily rituals in cultures around the world. We immersed ourselves in the study of botanicals, traditional herbal practices, and the art of blending loose leaf tea. What began as a quiet personal ritual gradually became a genuine passion for crafting exceptional teas.
That passion became The Leaf and Cup.
How We Craft
From our shop in Kemp, Texas, we handcraft certified organic loose leaf teas and herbal blends using premium botanicals carefully selected for freshness, flavor, and quality. Every blend is thoughtfully created in small batches with intention and balance.
We're committed to creating products we'd proudly serve to our own family. Our teas are developed by certified herbalists and registered nurses, combining traditional herbal craftsmanship with a strong commitment to quality and consistency.
Alongside our teas, we also roast and smoke coffee in small batches, bringing the same level of care and attention to every batch we produce.
