Murder Mystery Tea
A jewel-toned iced tea mocktail with tropical fruit, dark berries, fresh lime, and just enough drama to keep everyone guessing.
A Tea with Something to Hide
Some teas are comforting. Some teas are cheerful. And then there is Murder Mystery Tea, a drink with the sort of dramatic flair that suggests candlelight, whispered suspicions, and at least one guest who knows more than they are saying.
Deep in color and bright in flavor, this delightfully eerie iced tea recipe is made with Green Pineapple Papaya tea, white grape juice, a splash of dark berry juice, honey, and fresh lime for a finish that is equal parts refreshing and theatrical.
An Innocent Tea Mocktail? Perhaps.
At first glance, it may seem like an innocent tea mocktail, shimmering over ice with a sparkling sugared rim and a cheerful lime wedge perched on the glass.
But looks, as any seasoned party guest knows, can be wildly misleading. Beneath its jewel-toned surface lies a tropical, fruity, slightly tangy blend with enough character to make it memorable long after the first glass disappears.
That theatrical color and bright flavor make Murder Mystery Tea especially fitting for Halloween drinks, themed parties, book club gatherings, murder mystery dinners, or any afternoon that could use a little more drama.
Made with Green Pineapple Papaya Tea
Brewed Green Pineapple Papaya tea gives this drink its smooth, fruit-forward foundation. Its tropical character pairs naturally with the softer sweetness of white grape juice while leaving plenty of room for the darker berry flavors to make their entrance.
A splash of berry juice deepens both the flavor and the crimson color, honey softens the sharper notes, and fresh lime brings a crisp citrus twist that keeps the finished drink lively and refreshing.
A Fruity Iced Tea Made for a Grand Reveal
The finished fruity iced tea is festive, unusual, and just a little suspicious in the best possible way. Tropical fruit keeps the flavor playful, while grape, dark berry, honey, and lime create enough contrast to give each sip a little intrigue.
Whether you're hosting a haunted tea party, planning a spooky celebration, or simply looking for a unique loose leaf tea recipe, Murder Mystery Tea is ready to make an entrance.
The Plot Thickens Over Ice
Bright fruit, dark berries, fresh citrus, and a touch of sweetness come together in a dramatic tea mocktail made for mysterious evenings, memorable gatherings, and guests who appreciate a drink with a story.
Serve it cold. Serve it dramatically. And serve it before the plot thickens.
